Overview
Rejuran is a skin rejuvenation treatment designed to support your skin's natural regenerative processes. It contains polynucleotides — DNA fragments sourced from salmon — used for their skin-repairing properties.
The treatment is intended to support collagen and elastin production at a cellular level, with the goal of improving texture, elasticity, and overall skin quality. It is a minimally invasive treatment with modest downtime.
The Process
What to Expect
Skin Assessment
Your nurse analyses your skin condition, discusses your concerns, and determines if Rejuran is the right treatment for your goals.
Treatment
Polynucleotides are delivered into the skin using fine injections. The procedure takes approximately 30 minutes with topical numbing for comfort.
Renewal
Your skin's natural repair process activates, with visible improvements in texture and hydration building over the following weeks.
Risk & Recovery
What to Expect
All medical treatments carry some risk. Understanding what is normal, what is less common, and when to seek review is part of informed consent.
Common reactions

- Small raised bumps (papules) at injection sites that typically settle within 24–48 hours

Less common

Rejuran is a therapeutic good included in the ARTG and is administered as an injectable treatment. Suitability and individual risk depend on your medical history, allergies, current medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, and prior treatments — assessed by your nurse at consultation.
Our Approach
At Cadence Cosmetics, we aim to provide natural and refreshing results with our Rejuran treatments, allowing you to achieve the best version of yourself. Our cosmetic nurse works with you to create a personalised treatment plan that addresses your unique skin concerns.
A course of several treatments spaced a few weeks apart is typical. Your nurse will recommend a specific plan for you at consultation, and maintenance is discussed once your initial course is complete.
Some change can be visible within days, with further improvement developing over the weeks following treatment as the skin's repair processes are supported.
Rejuran is included in the ARTG and has an established clinical history. Suitability depends on your individual health, allergies (particularly to seafood), medications, and skin concerns. This is assessed at your consultation.
Rejuran can be sequenced with other treatments as part of a broader plan. Your nurse will advise on timing and combinations based on your goals.
Your Practitioner
Nurse Kristin
Treatments at Cadence are delivered by a nurse, never delegated. The practice is led by Kristin, an AHPRA-registered Registered Nurse with over a decade of clinical experience including acute-care nursing at a major Melbourne hospital, and she is joined in the clinic by Hannah, also a Registered Nurse.
Her medical-first approach means each treatment plan starts from assessment, history and risk — not a wish list. Kristin is trained in body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) screening and works with a conservative, considered philosophy.
